1: My eyebrows are two different colors. One is the color of my dad's hair and the other is my mom's hair color. My hair is reddish-blonde, more red than blond now and my eyebrows are two different shades of brown.
2: I went on my first date a few months before I turned 19. It was supposed to be a double date with my roommate and two guys. 5 minutes before we were supposed to leave, my date backed out. The other guy felt really bad and took both of us to the movie anyway. Twenty minutes into the film, we left because of something in the film that offended him. I wasn't asked out on another date until I was 22.
3: I speak and read French almost fluently. I am constantly working on my language skills because I don't know anyone else who speaks French.
4: I am the oldest of 6 siblings: four brothers and my sister, who is 13 years younger than me.
5: Out of the 5 people I consider sisters because they are such good friends, 3 of them were either born or raised in Hong Kong and speak various dialects of Chinese.
6: I am emotionally involved with a fictional character in a television show that airs weekly on TV Tokyo. Thankfully it is no longer an illegal relationship due to a certain website streaming the show for free.
7: My sister and I are planning two big trips for just us. One is to New York City to celebrate my 30th birthday in a few years. The other is to London in 2012 for the Summer Olympics and to celebrate our respective graduations from college and high school.
8: I would like to travel from Galveston, TX to Southhampton, England via cruise ship and two weeks of no cell phones. Heaven!!!!
9: My life's ambition is to attend every operating LDS temple in the world! And to sit on Hadrian's wall in Scotland.
10: I studied Art History and Curatorial Studies at BYU. I had a double minor in Anthropology and Ancient Near Eastern Studies. If your eyes just glazed over reading that, you can count yourself among the many people who have heard what I enjoy studying and then said to me, "What exactly is that?"
11: I hope to obtain my Master's degree at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. They are the only school in the country that has an integrated program for Interior Architecture and Museum Studies. I would also like to continue on to get my Ph.D. in Architectural History.
12: I love to dance in the dark.
13: I have been singing since I was about 8, am a classically trained vocalist, and have sung in: Afrikaans, Dutch, English, French, German, Hebrew,Italian,Japanese,Latin, Russian, Spanish and Swedish. I almost went to the Peabody Conservatory of Music affiliated with Johns Hopkins University. But my dad wouldn't let me.
14: I am learning how to quilt, which I have learned is a whole other sewing animal.
15: I am usually an organized, neat-freak.
16: I wanted to get married once, but could find no one who thought the same.
17: I went to Europe when I was 16 and fell in love.
18: I am an amateur photographer.
19: My brother, John, gave me his GameCube a few years ago and the only games I play are Tetris, Mario Kart Double Dash and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.
20: I stress fractured a vertebra in my lower back in 2004. I would like to say I did it rock climbing or something else exotically fun. But I sneezed in a weird position and discovered later that I don't absorb calcium properly.
21: I slept on the floor of the Amsterdam airport for two hours waiting for a connecting flight.
22: I haven't been on a date or in a relationship with a member of the opposite sex since 2004.
23: My dad died when I was 25.
24: I collect cookbooks, random art books and tote bags from every museum I have visited since 2005.
25: I want to drive on the Autobahn and go as fast as I feel comfortable, while driving a BMW Z4 Roadster with a standard transmission. Oh YEAH!
