After the 181st Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints this weekend, I have decided to take a two-month long break from certain things in my life. Not the easiest decision but necessary for personal perspective.
I particularly enjoyed these talks from Conference:
Elder Kent F. Richards
Elder Quentin L. Cook
Elder Russell M. Nelson
Elder Dallin H. Oaks
Elder M. Russell Ballard
Pres. Dieter F. Uchtdorf, from Priesthood and Sunday morning
Elder Paul V. Johnson
Elder Richard G. Scott
Pres. Thomas S. Monson, all talks, but especially Priesthood.
I appreciate their counsel, advice and the ability I have to re-evaluate choices, relationships, and promised blessings. We live in a marvelous time and are sincerely blessed to hear the words of men called by God to teach His words. How lucky I am to have prayers answered and choices made clear.
I also have to thank my brother's friend for something that she said prior to Conference. "You either do things all the way or not at all. We're past the age of 'practicing' on other people." Thanks, Abs.
