In discussing my sister's love life with her this morning, I was educated on the new definitions of "The Bases." Apparently, I have a dirty mind because I thought they referred to levels of physical intimacy. I was corrected. And so, I felt the need to share this bit of information with the rest of the world.
Base the First: You breathe the same air.
Base the Second: You make eye contact.
Base the Third: You have a conversation.
Base Home: You have scheduled a date.
Home Run: Marriage. The ball has been knocked out of the park.
To quote my sister as I laughed hysterically at this:
"That's right. I'm just that awesome!"
To quote her as I wrote this on the phone whilst talking with her:
"That's right! I'm your favorite sibling. It's official! I have declared it so."
Apparently my first comment did not go through. Man, your blog really is oblivious.

I'm on the phone right now with my sister and she's trying to comment on this but can't figure out how to sign in to her Google account. I'm trying to be supportive but am laughing so hard at her comments to the computer that it is hard to not fall over laughing.
