Things I Want

~My sister to not have a heart condition.

~People to be more kinder to one another.

~Friends who choose to spend time together in person.

~People in my life who don't say mean things to one another or about one another.

~Someone else to cook dinner.

~Less complaining and more gratitude.

~To be able to go back to school in January.

~A job with a salary that is sufficient for my needs.

~A normal sleep schedule.

~Less stress.

~A week's vacation without worries about money, bills, or anything.

~Health Insurance

~To not feel guilty for not letting in the kitten who was crying outside last night in 40-ish degree weather. (I'm allergic and can't have pets in my apartment.)

~A boyfriend who loves God, the outdoors, and me.
(This one could be a whole post by itself.)

~Peace. I want peace in my life.

  1. So, I'm sitting in the college library reading your post thinking, "We are soooooo two peas in a pod!" Things will change, Emily! I promise... For the better. LIFE stinks, though, sometimes. My Grandpa says something that his Dad used to say, "Life is just one d*%m thing after another." Trials are tailor-made and when things do change more/different trials will come. Stay close to your Heavenly Father, read your scriptures (that's helped me A LOT!. Stay positive!! <3

  2. I'll cook dinner for you if you'll clean my house. I just participated in a facebook conversation about which we'd rather have, a maid or a cook. I'll take the maid!

  3. Melody--I like cleaning the house which is probably why I don't enjoy cooking for myself. I have to prep, cook, and then cleanup. Too much work right now.
