Art History Wednesdays
Mark your calendar! On Saturday, 26 Jan 2013, 4-5 PM, Professor Giovanni Curatola, organizing curator of the inaugural installation of works from the al-Sabah Collection, Kuwait, consultant to the DAI, and professor of Islamic Archaeology and Art History, University of Udine, Italy, will present an opening-day lecture about the internationally renowned collection. Professor Curatola will discuss how the works encapsulate the development of Islamic art over the ages.
