Can I Get an Amen?!

These are things I have thought over and over and some of them I have shared in my own personally twisted way here on my blog!

Get your nose out of other people's bidnezz!!

Don't call someone saying it's on my behalf because you're concerned about me. You ain't or ya woulda called me!

Don't call someone and pretend you care about them so you can get the skinny!

Stop talking about people!

There are more interesting things in Heaven and Earth than what's going on in so-and-so's private life. Unless they're in danger of death, dismemberment, deportation via human trafficking, et cetera people ain't none of your business. Period. Worry about yourself and how to be a better human being. And don't tell me about other people. I don't want to know. If you really cared about me, you would've brought me a casserole and given me a hug and left it at that.

If I ask how you are doing because I love you and am interested in what's going on in your life, please, for the love of all that is holy, do NOT tell me about someone who lives near you whom I have never met and will never meet. I don't care about them and don't need to hear their problems via your second-hand filter.

JUST STOP IT!!!!

Now, when I tell you a story from my life about myself from my perspective that may involve others as secondary characters, that's a whole other thing. I usually tell them to illustrate a point and not for the sleaze factor. Sometimes you need to know where my thought process came from when I philosophize. Or it's just funny to tell a story about an awkward date I had 10 years ago.
