I recently performed in a presentation of this, although not in this production. I live nowhere near the University of North Texas but support them as my grandpa was an alum. I have a fondness for classical religious choral music. They are either scripture or prayers set to music and are absolutely beautiful to me. I feel that too often we only see the religion surrounding such works and forget what they are singing about and from where the words originate.
Anyway, enjoy!
