My Christmas Card to You!

I don't personally know each and every person who has ever read my blog nor those who read regularly. I don't know what your face looks like or what color eyes you have. I don't know why you visit my tiny blip on the interwebz. I don't know your marital/socio-economic/religious/racial status nor do I care to know as those things simply do not matter to me.

I do know that Jesus is the Christ and that each and every person who has or who will ever live is loved. I know that the Atonement not only helps us to repent and erase our sins but also gives us a Perfect Friend--One who knows intimately exactly how I feel and what I go through daily. He is the only one I can talk to freely and openly and not feel judged. I know that I am heard and listened to. I know that I am not unique in this experience--it is one all have been freely given should we choose to embrace it.

I have not celebrated Christmas with my entire family present since 2004. I have tried this year to make Christmas more special for me. Thus I have shared a musical post every day of Advent. I hope you have enjoyed it and not been completely bored with my scheduled posts.

This is one of my favorite Christmas songs and my second-favorite arrangement of it. It reminds me why I keep trying to be a better person. It's not about the presents or the food although they remind me that Christ was the greatest gift given to the world and offered us the bread of life. It's about people and the reason we have this holy-day in the first place. May we all strive to be a little more like Christ this coming year.
