"When you're lovers in a dangerous time, sometimes you're made to feel as if your love's a crime. Nothing worth having comes without some kind of fight. Gotta kick at the darkness 'til it bleeds daylight." ~Bruce Cockburn

Perspective
It is amazing how a super-hot shower, some Yoga, Sam Cooke and Marvin Gaye just make your problems seem insignificant. It also helps to spend the day in bed with the covers pulled over your head. This too shall pass and I will be a better person for having survived. One day I will look back on the past year and be amazed at what I was able to accomplish. I truly am blessed! I have a roof over my head, a bed to sleep in, food in my pantry and friends who love and support me. I also have a job and live in a country where we believe in the higher education of women. I have 3 semesters of school left and then will have my B.S. in Interior Design. For the first time in my life, I know that I can make goals and accomplish them. I have learned how to say no to people and make myself a priority in my life. I have also learned some astonishing things about what I truly want in my life. I am worth all the effort I put into making myself the person I have the potential to become. So, forgive me my previous post. Every now and then we all have a meltdown of some kind or other.
