My Latest Love: Gasoline!!

I recently started job number 2, which I enjoy immensely. I get to show up, turn on the mp3 player, pop in the headphones and sing while I clean a department store. What could be better?! I get to combine 3 things I love and get paid to do it. I get to sing, workout, and clean. For some reason today, this song just struck a chord and I fell in love. I listened to the whole album 3 times in a row--awesomeness! Then I came home from work, plugged my computer into my sub-woofer and speakers, and put Gasoline on repeat for about an hour while I danced around my house. I was a bit sad that I had to get dressed and go to job number 1, but I really love getting paid. Getting paid makes life so much more worry-less--and eventually I could get some Teva Hurricanes and new hiking boots. After I fix my car and pay off some bills, of course. (sigh)

Now I am posting my latest musical love so that all may enjoy it as well. (It also helps that I figured out how to post youtube videos.) I would also recommend "Snowblind," "Mockingbird," "Cradlesong," and "Someday." They are my favorites off this album for musicality and I just plain love Rob Thomas' lyrics--they speak to my soul.

"Oh well, oh well/It never took a lot to make this hard/ 'Cause you were so off-balance and I knew all the words to set you off/But you can never win, you can never lose/That's the scorned heart/And you throw your head back and you laugh at where we are/You're a beautiful girl/So won't you listen to me/ Well, I tried so hard to give you what you need/And it burned like gasoline....."
