Do I Look a Little Chartreuse to You?

A friend has hiked one mountain this year that I have wanted to hike for years.

Mt Fuji, Tokyo, Japan

This weekend the aforementioned friend is off hiking another mountain I would like to summit.

Mt Rainier, Washington State, USA

 I think my skin is changing color I am so happy for the friend. Jealousy doesn't look good on me! Despite my protestations--and mild glee that rain descended on the Mt Fuji ascent--I really am happy and excited the friend gets to have these adventures. When one has the opportunity to go play, one should grab it and run!

Next year, I will be off hiking/climbing things and maybe the friend can turn colors when the friend gets to stay home and receive emails about the adventure after the fact.
