Fuel for the Imagination

I love exploratory archaeology. You get to ask, "What if?" and then test your possible answers. I minored in socio-cultural anthropology at Brigham Young University and was planning on pursuing a double-major. One of my classes required a reading on the peoples of Easter Island. They were originally believed to have come from Africa but recent studies have shown that their genetic markers are more closely related to peoples indigenous to South America. Totally fascinating! I would like to go to Easter Island--it's on The List.

Here is a great article on Wired.com about famous Exploratory Archaeologists.

Pursue the possibilities of a thought. Test your theories. Emerson said that "All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better." You're one of my heroes, Thor Heyerdahl!
