I don't really have any books to review. I've been re-reading the Terry Pratchett books I own as a means of escape. Vacationing on The Discworld keeps me sane. If you haven't read any of his books, I would recommend all of them. The first one I ever read was "Unseen Academicals" and it is my favorite. I also love the Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg, and Magrat Garlick books. The books in that mini-series are "Wyrd Sisters," "Witches Abroad," "Lords and Ladies," and "Carpe Jugulum."
His books are an experience you can't miss.
On a connected tangent.....
I started a book club! I suggested it to someone, she took off with it, we invited people, and are having our first get-together next month here in Houston.
We are reading "
The Power of Habit." If you want to read along, I will post my review 22 February.
- What are some of your favorite books?
- What do you read when you need to take a mental vacation?
