Since I started working 2 jobs again, and spend more time in traffic sometimes than I like, I have been trying to be better organized about things. Money. Cooking. Laundry. Those basic things that eat away at our precious minutes. I'm going back to school next month and that means my time becomes even more precious to me.
My friend Sarra's wonderful husband, Steve, introduced me to a new budgeting program I'm pretty sure I'm falling in love with. And this led me to think about something I recently saw on a news program.
Does anyone know anything about Amazon's Subscribe and Save program? Have you used it? Thoughts? Opinions?
I'm seriously thinking of doing this. It would limit the time I spend in the grocery store so that I'm only purchasing fresh fruits and veggies, poultry, fish, and dairy items. I wouldn't have to go into the aisles and could just lap the store. And since the shipping is free it would be the same as if I got it at the store but my time there would be reduced.
Also, this is something cool I discovered today. I have a Kroger rewards card and on their website they have digital coupons you can add to the card. You just register, scroll through the coupons and add the ones you want to the card. Then when they scan your rewards card at checkout it automatically matches the coupons with the items you purchase. No clipping! Good for the environment and good for your wallet.
Never used the Amazon thing, but it all sounds like a good idea!
