When I was growing up the Disney Channel had old TV shows and played Disney movies. We would get cable every once in awhile and my parents would splurge on the Disney Channel upgrade so that we could have quality family viewing time. We all feel in love with movies like "Darby O'Gill and the Little People," "The Gnomemobile," "Ben and Me," etc. One of my all-time favorites though was an old TV show called "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet." Why? Because Ricky Nelson could sing and he looked good no matter what he did.

Today, at work, I was helping my patient tidy-up his home office and we ran across a CD of the Everly Brothers. I have had songs playing in my head since seeing the CD. Who doesn't love songs with amazing lyrics and harmonies like theirs? Then I started singing "Travelin' Man" in my head. So when I got home the tunes were played. Thought I'd share some of my favorites with you....just because it's my blog and I can.
